Nora Ventu, the company set up by the partnership between Nadara and BlueFloat Energy to develop floating offshore wind farms off the Sardinian coast, has launched a consultation to provide local communities with more information on two projects to be developed in the Gulf of Cagliari.

Where once there was open-cast mining for energy of a different kind, the North Steads Wind Farm generates enough power to run . The wind farm is located on land that was part of the East Chevington (Maidens Hall / Steadsburn) opencast coal mine, which ceased its operations in 1991. It was then restored to forestry and farmland in 2000 with work on the turbines beginning in August 2015. Six of the nine turbines are located within the forested area, with the remaining three in arable fields to the south. The project is also a close neighbour to the four-turbine (8.2 MW) Sisters Wind Farm which is also owned by Ventient. Acquired in 2015, North Steads ‘ 9 turbines are rated at just over 2MW, giving the site an installed capacity of 18.45MW with the ability to generate enough energy to power .

This plant consists of a field with photovoltaic panels to convert solar energy into electric energy, a system that converts the electrical current from direct to alternating at the grid frequency, and a transformer to increase the voltage generated to the grid voltage, all of which are integrated with protective devices.
This plant is grid connected, namely, it is connected to the public distribution network into which the energy produced is supplied, so there is no need to install electricity accumulators.
The photovoltaic modules consist of 1,512 amorphous silicon cells mounted on structures fixed to the ground.

Novar Wind Farm sits in a picturesque Highland location approximately 5.5 miles west of Alness. From its elevated position on an extensive Easter Ross shooting estate it enjoys commanding views of the Cromarty Firth and Ben Wyvis. As well as being steeped in the history of Scotland ‘s Highland clans, the area is well known for its contribution to Highland employment with a number of light and heavy industries based locally. The yards at Invergordon and Nigg play a significant role in offshore development in the oil and gas sectors and, more recently, have been heavily involved in fabrication for renewables including offshore wind farms. The wind farm was originally built by nPower in 1997 before being transferred to Beaufort, then Infinis and now Ventient Energy. Its 34 turbines are rated at 500kW and the site has an installed capacity of 17MW, generating enough energy to power .

The Noyales wind farm is located in the communes of Noyales and Hauteville, 18 km north-east of Saint-Quentin, in the Aisne department (02), on a vast open agricultural plateau. Commissioned in August 2009, it consists of 5 Fuhrländer FL 2500/90 wind turbines of 2.50 MW each for a total power of 12.5 MW.

The Nutberry wind farm is located near Nutberry Hill, 4 miles west of Coalburn in South Lanarkshire and has been operational since 2013. Funding from Nutberry is administered by South Lanarkshire Renewable Energy Fund.

Nadara and BlueFloat Energy have formed an equal partnership to develop the Odra Energia project to construct a floating offshore wind farm off the southern coast of the province of Lecce.
