The 9.7 MWp agri-voltaic plant in the Landolina district of Scicli (RG) combines the production of renewable energy, equal to the needs of more than 5 thousand families, with the enhancement of local agricultural crops while respecting the environmental peculiarities of the area. The project leverages on innovative methods, which have already been successfully adopted in other countries, and which represent a novelty in Italy, thanks to the adoption of specific agri-voltaic techniques that generate a beneficial impact on the territory. In order to participate in the construction and development of the Landolina park and to allow locals and Sicilian citizens to benefit from a profitable, sustainable and secure investment, Falck Renewables has launched the first lending crowdfunding initiative of the “Coltiviamo Energia” programme.

The Fouy wind farm is located in the commune of Chemillé-en-Anjou, 16 km north-east of Cholet, in the department of Maine-et-Loire (49). The project involved both the former communes of La Chapelle-Rousselin and Saint-Georges-des-Gardes. The wind farm consists of 4 Nordex 90LS wind turbines of 2.5 MW each for a total output of 10 MW. It provides clean energy to almost 4,000 homes, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 12,500 tonnes per year.
