The Rende photovoltaic plant has 1 MWp of power and was built by positioning the photovoltaic modules on special metal supports (located in the area adjacent to the biomass plant). The plant consists of a single field subdivided into 211 strings with 26 modules each. The photovoltaic modules comprise 48 monocrystalline silicon cells that guarantee stable performance over time and a high return. The modules are south facing and tilted at a 20° angle, defined so as to optimize the annual yield. CO2 savings: around 570 tons

Rheidol Wind Farm is located south of the A44 in Llywernog, Mid Wales, approximately 15 km east of Aberystwyth. The wind farm opened in January 1997 and has an installed capacity of 2.4MW. It was acquired from E.ON UK plc in January 2011. Rheidol has a strong operational track record with an average load factor of approximately 29% and its 8 turbines, rated at 300kW.
