Company Milestones

2002

Renantis, Formerly Falck Renewables, is established in Italy.

2004-2005

After acquiring its first wind farm in Spain, Renantis completes on its first UK wind farm.

2006

Renantis’ first community project is launched in the UK, enabling thousands of people in Scotland to buy a share of their local wind farm.

2009-2011

Renantis, Formerly Falck Renewables, is established in Italy.

2017

Ventient Energy is born from the merger of Infinis and Zephyr with a portfolio of 34 onshore wind farms in the UK.

2020

Ventient acquires the Portuguese owner and operator Iberwind, integrating the team into the organisation.

2021

Renantis launches its first community benefit project in Italy, with a crowd funding campaign for the Landolina plant in Sicily.

2021

Ventient becomes the largest non-utility onshore wind generator in Europe, managing 135 wind farms and 2.6GW of installed capacity.

2022

Ventient acquires 203MW of onshore wind and 240MW of solar in Spain.

2023

Renantis and Ventient both receive 5-star GRESB ratings. The combination of the two organisations is announced.

2024

We combine to become Nadara, one of the largest renewable IPPs in Europe.
