The Castillo Eólico León cluster comprises the wind projects of Porqueros, Ucedo and Veldedo de Nadara and will be located in the municipalities of Magaz de Cepeda, Brazuelo, Villagatón, Santa Colomba de Somoza and Torre del Bierzo, in the province of León (Spain). .
These new wind farms will mean a total estimated production of 235 GWh/year, enough to supply energy to more than 30,000 homes.

The Rende photovoltaic plant has an installed capacity of 1MWp with the modules mounted on special metal supports and located in the area adjacent to the 16MW biomass plant. The solar farm consists of a single field subdivided into 211 strings with 26 monocrystalline photovoltaic modules each which are south facing and tilted at a 20° angle to optimise the annual yield.
