Situated close to Crow Edge near the town of Penistone in South Yorkshire, Blackstone Edge Wind Farm became fully operational in March 2013. Its three turbines have an installed capacity of 7.5MW and they ‘re located on land that ‘s currently used for pastoral farming although the local area was historically associated with coal and clay mining. With a summit peaking at 349m, Blackstone Edge is ideally situated to capture the winds that blow across the Pennines, and the three turbines generate enough electricity to power an estimated . Construction at Blackstone Edge Wind Farm began in July 2012 and the development took 9 months to complete.

The plant has an installed capacity of 9 MW that consists of 3 using the technology of Ecotecnia EC-100

The Bois Ballay wind farm is located in the commune of Mareuil-sur-Arnon, 26 km southwest of Bourges, in the Cher department (18), on an open agricultural plateau. Commissioned in September 2011, it consists of 5 Nordex N100 wind turbines of 2.5 MW each for a total power of 12.5 MW.

The plant has an installed capacity of 49,8 MW that consists of 21 using the technology of Vestas V90

The plant has an installed capacity of 60 MW that consists of 24 using the technology of Nordex N90 – R80

The plant has an installed capacity of 10 MW that consists of 5 using the technology of Senvion MM100

The plant has an installed capacity of 2 MW that consists of 1 using the technology of Enercon E66/20.70

The plant has an installed capacity of 10 MW that consists of 5 using the technology of Vestas V90

The Boyndie wind farm is located on a former World War II airfield just over a mile inland from the north coast of Aberdeenshire, between Portsoy and Banff and has been operational since 2006. Funding from Boyndie is administered by Whitehills and District Community Council and benefits community organisations in the local area.

Renantis and Blue Float Energy have formed an equal partnership to develop the Broadshore floating offshore wind farm north of Fraserburgh as part of the ScotWind offshore wind leasing round.
